24th Annual Spring Derby 2026

The 79 day long spring surf fishing tournament, the 2026 24th Annual LBI Spring Derby will be run from April 4th to June 21, 2026. We are looking forward to three great months of thrilling surf fishing action. The 2025 event was a good one with a lot of great catches. Anglers battling some impressive fish from the surf. Congrats to Steve Taylor (largest striped bass), Patrick Presutto (largest bluefish) and Ricky Rasiul (Largest striped bass in the Surf Master Division).

72nd Annual Fall Classic 2026

Stay tuned for 2026 event details. This legendary event, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious surf fishing tournaments, offers anglers a shot at over $25,000 in prizes for landing striped bass, bluefish, kingfish, blackfish, red drum and fluke.

Dates: August 30 - November 29, 2026.

Last year, the 2025 event ran with a modified structure incorporating a shift forward in dates and a revised prize structure as well as the inclusion of fluke aka summer flounder to the target species roster.
